Sun., 11/29 Restauratio & Reuse
This is the ancient Roman "Temple of Romulus," with an inscription from Pope Urban VIII! This is the round temple that's attached to the church of Santi Cosma e Damiano, which I have visited. I photographed the round temple from the window in the church, and watched the progress of (more) restauration. This is the first time I have seen the church open to the public.
Sun. 11/29 lunch/dinner
The beginning of the meal. Veal in a light sauce/au jus with really, really good, if funny-looking broccoli.
Sun. 11/29 Lunch at Angelina al Foro
The end of the meal. Well, at least the end before the phone battery went dead. Couldn't photograph the "ice cream drowned (yes, that was the verb on the menu) in hot coffee.
